After started out as a one direction Wattpad fanfiction which is really cool!
This book is about a girl, Tessa, who moves to llege. She’s the typical nice girl. Until she meets Hardin. The mysterious guy with tatoos. He’s the kind of guy she should stay away from. He says so too. But it’s not so easy to Tessa. She is attracted to him no matter what he is hiding.
This book is for mature readers only because it cotains a lot of mature content.
This book is a quick fast paced read but during the half of the book, it annoyed the crap out of me. Hardin wasn’t fair to Tessa at all and tessa was such a weak character. I like books where the female protagonist is strong and independent, but Tessa showed me the exact opposite.
This is basically Fifty shades of grey by E.L James for New adult readers. It doesn’t have BDSM or anythng, but the characters are utterly familiar. But two books run along a totally different story line, so you can still read it even if you’re not a big fan of Fifty shades. Like me.
But as this series goes deeper in, you get to know more about these characters and that’s what I really likedabout this whole series. hardin changing for the better despite his traumatizing past was very touching to me. Character development is such an important part to this whole series and The last book, After Ever Happy was breathtaking. Even if you didn’t enjoy After, keep going. The series gets better!
